My roommate

When I first found out who my roommate was last year, I wasn't sure what to think, but through emails, she seemed really nice and I also did a little bit of Facebook stalking. Once I got to BYU, I was freaking out because I didn't know if my roommate and I would get along.. I was always afraid that I would get matched up with someone that I wouldn't connect with and that we would just be two people living together with separate lives. Well, the first day I met her, she was really nice and gave me hug! Her family seemed super nice as well.. When both our families left, we were finally forced to talk to each other... Well, we connected instantly! We just asked each other questions and found how similar we are, then exchanged numbers so that we could meet up after the Y group stuff. She is really awesome. As the semester went on, our relationship has grown more and more. I would consider her as a sister to me because she has been there for me through thick and thin, and we literally do everything together! We have become so close and will do anything for each other. I have been blessed to have a great roommate and that we were able to connect the way that we have. We plan on living together next year and I'm really excited to see how our friendship grows.
