Peer Review

I always dreaded doing peer reviews in middle school and high school. First off, I never liked when other people read my work and critiqued it because I always felt that they were judging me and checking out how bad I was at writing. Also, I wasn't a big fan of having to edit other peoples writing and I felt like I was never any help when I did that. I just thought that peer reviews were such a waste of time and so boring. Plus, I didn't really actually like to write papers because they were about topics I didn't care about. Now that I have done a couple of peer reviews in college, I feel that it is more effective in a college setting because people are actually taking the time to read your paper and critique it. All the feed back I've gotten has been extremely  helpful and has made helped me improve my paper. As much as I didn't like to take the time to read the papers, I felt that I was actually helpful and was able to give feedback to the papers. I wasn't sure what to expect in this class because I never liked writing papers, but it truly isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I  loved being able to do it in our writing 150 class because as our groups change each time, I have been able to get to know people better. I would like to thank everyone who has ever taken the time to read my paper and give me feedback.
